Rooftop AC Clicking When Using Furnace or AC

Question: When turning on either the air or the furnace there is a lot of clicking coming from the rooftop ac unit. It sounds like the relays are going crazy. Wha tmight cause this?

Robbie: If the relays are chattering you need to have the Computer Circuit Board looked at by a qualified RV Tech. The Circuit Board runs your Furnace and Roof AC when activated by the wall Thermostat. If could be a loose connection or the board has a internal short and is going bad. Either way I suggest a RV tech analyze your problem. Good Luck

Thanks for the Question Good Luck,
Robbie

Clicking noise coming from inside the Rv NEW
by: Anonymous

What if the circuit board for the air conditioning unit is brand new installed two weeks ago and it's making that clicking noise? It sounds like it's short-circuiting and the unit was only put in 2 weeks ago what do I do?

Clicking coming from AC NEW

I have also turn my air conditioner completely off and it's still clicking and trying to turn on. Like I said in my previous comment this air conditioner was only put in 2 weeks ago it should not be doing this...
What could be the problem and what do I do because a friend of mine had someone that was a professional RV Tech install it but I can't get the name from him because we are not on speaking terms..

How to fix the clicking relay in the AC NEW
by: Justin

All you have to do the fix the clicking in the AC unit when you're running the furnace. Fine your thermostat manual. Look for how to control your temperature differential. It's probably set for a one degree difference. Change it to 2 degrees. This will keep it from cycling too fast.
