No Power Or Lights On Panel Inside RV Power In RV Fine

Question: My lights and power went blank on panel inside of rv,the panel that controls the central air,water pumps,amps,heaters ect...the one with the green lights that tell you how many amps your using and that have the other switches like water heater ,pump,amps battery power just went blank, what should i check on next...already checked the breakers and they are fine...thanks Randy



Robbie: Hi Randy.
I'd check your 12V fuse center (not your 110V Breakers) to be sure they are all good. Be sure and use a 12V test light and not depend on the looks of the fuse's. If the panel has a single ground wire make sure it still has a good ground connection. You may need to pull the panel and see if a wire has come loose. If there is a wiring harness with a plug behind the panel be sure it hasn't come loose. They're are many different style panels all wired a different way so if you can call the manufacturer they might be able to tell you how the power is supplied to the panel.

 no lights air conditioning, hot water heater only plug inns work.

I got a FEMA rv and all the power quit except plug inns. I checked breakers and fuses they were good. What else could it be.

I have a 2000 nomad skyline i was using out side awning lights and had the hot water heater on eleltric and plugged a RV fireplace in found all ran on same circuit. Lost power to out side-hot water heater and plugs in one side of camper. seen smoke could not see were it came from flipped breaker and checked fuse. Lost
