How Do I Get Schematics For My RV?

by Shelly Heckman
(Apple Valley, CA)

My rear power bed will not lower. How do I lower it manually? And how do I obtain schematics for my RV? It is a 2005 Tahoe Fury by Thor.

How Do I Get Schematics For My RV?

You question is very limited in detail, but if you are inquiring about a 12 Volt operated mechanism that raises and lowers your bed, it would be necessary to trace the circuits for 12 volts. The system also might have limit switches and/or a Computer circuit.

Schematics would have to be from Thor and you'll need to track down what factory your unit was made as they have more than one factory. Thor also would have a Tech Support division to assist you. Schematics will show you the wiring and circuits, it will not show you where anything is physically located in your unit.

Good Luck in your website search to find THOR and numbers to call Tech Support.

Robbie Warford, San Diego RV Repair

Hi, I'm Robbie. Welcome to Money-Saving-RV-Repair.com!

Like the name implies, this site is all about helping you save money while keeping your RV in tip-top shape--and that is all about you having the knowledge to do so.

I've been a technician in the RV industry for 30 years, operating out of San Diego, California. And let me tell you, I love my job.

But I also love empowering RVers with the knowledge they need to make the right decision on repairs, or to make the fix themselves--and that, my friend, is the reason for this website. I hope you enjoy.

Or, learn more about me, my RV service practice, & this website here.
