Hail Damaged Roof And Can't Find Acryl-R

Question: We bought a used 5th wheel RV. It has had a lot of hail damage on it. The roof is leaking. We have tried to spot repair it, but it still leaks. I read in the book to use Acryl-R to reseal the whole roof. We can't find it. Is there something else we can use, want to roll it on. It is a 97 Jayco Eagle.
Thanks for any help you can give us.
Robbie: There are all kinds of factors to take into consideration. If you are going to completely reseal the entire roof with a roll on product you are going to have to make sure the roof is completely clean before applying. The only product available here in San Diego is Kool Seal.
I am going to advise you, if you have a rubber roof, to only seal the seams (front and rear seam, and vents). I do not recommend a roll on product on a rubber roof.
In answer to your question in search for Acryl-R, it cannot be found in home improvement stores such as Lowe's or Home Depot, but can only be found in RV supply stores. The product I use most often is called Dicor. It is used for and applied the same as Acryl-R.
I hope this helpsGood luck,
Robbie
