Replaced Batteries and Fridge Quit Working???

Question: We were informed we had a "bad house battery" in our 2009 Itasac Suncruiser. The batteries had bubbled over and we had acid dried up in the tray. We paid to have the old batteries tested and new batteries installed and 2 weeks later the tray was full of dried up acid again and one cell was completely dry on the new battery. In addition to this, our fridge would not work. Any thoughts on what is going on? Thanks

Robbie: Replying to this problem based only on the information you've given me, I would suggest you have the charging system to the battery's tested and of course the batterie replaced (Under Warranty if the charging system test good). Most all converters drop back their charge when the batteries are full and go into a "float" stage. When you get your RV back after repairs, monitor the batteries closely and be sure they never get hot while charging. There is a possibilty you just had a bad cell in the new battery. To have this repaired and tested correctly the repair facility would need to keep the RV for a few days.
