Getting Power To Frige From Battery

by Miguel
(Nebraska City, Nebraska)

Question: How long will my fridge run w/ a 12 volt battery?

Robbie: Your fridge is designed to be on 12V only when being driven and even then I suggest you use propane. It's getting harder to find fridges than work on 12V at all unless being installed in a boat and then it requires the engine be running when in use. The average time a 12v battery lasts is about 4 hrs on one battery. I suggest you don't use 12V and stay with propane. It is safe and designed to be on when you are driving down the road.

I hope this helps,
Robbie
